Job description


The Accounts Clerk is responsible for accurately inputting financial data into databases, ensuring timely updates to accounts payable and receivable records. Your precision and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the Company's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter financial data into accounting software ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Maintain up-to-date financial records.
  • Process and record invoices from suppliers.
  • Verify accuracy of billing statements and match them with purchase orders.
  • Schedule and prepare payments, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Generate and send out invoices to customers.
  • Record payments received and follow up on outstanding accounts.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any payment discrepancies.
  • Prepare monthly accounts receivable aging reports.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Reconcile all financial transactions to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or variances.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
  • Ensure data entry processes comply with financial regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation.
  • Generate reports on financial status, including profit and loss statements.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.


Job requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • ACCA Level 1 Completion or pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in data entry or accounting support.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and data entry
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
