The Regional Business Development Manager will be responsible for understanding, managing, and growing the territories within the jurisdiction of the Company’s brands.

This will require the individual to conduct effective market research, develop key marketing strategies & build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure optimum returns are achieved for all parties.

Key Responsibilities

Understand Regional Customers, Consumers & Markets

  • Develop existing & new markets by aligning consumer needs to Brand product offerings.
  • Research & understand the business potential from existing & new territories.
  • Understand the territory dynamics and all channels to commercialise products.
  • Understand key stakeholders & decision makers in the territory.
  • Research, understand & recommend suitable distributors.

Develop Regional Marketing Strategies

  • Develop with Marketing Team, business, and marketing strategies for the territory
  • Develop revenue and return goals based on marketing plans
  • Establish key performance indicators to measure success of defined objectives

Manage Regional Distributors

  • Mutually agree with distributors desired outcomes for the Brands
  • Establish a framework to manage regional distributors including orders, shipments, marketing, stock etc.
  • Build strong customer relationships to handle customer issues timely.
  • Analyse targets, spend, returns, product deficiencies etc. to provide recommendations for business growth and problem resolution.

Job requirements

Minimum Qualifications & Experience 

  • BSc. or BA Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or related field.
  • Five (5) years’ trade experience in managing Caribbean distributors
  • Proven working experience as a Business Development Manager/similar duties

  • Computer literate and comfortable to work with emerging E-Business trends

  • Must be willing to work on weekends when required
  • Conversational Spanish will be an asset
  • Must be able to travel abroad
