The Key Account Manager will identify sales leads, pitch goods or services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifies new leads and potential markets through research of organizations and individuals via various means including but not limited to social media
  • Builds rapport and qualifies buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests; matching requirements and interests to various models
  • Research the needs of potential clients and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
  • Understands vehicle models by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features; and be able to demonstrate and positively compare to competitive models.
  • Develops buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers; meeting prospects; responding to inquiries; recommending sales campaigns and promotions
  • Provides potential customer and sales management information by completing reports
  • Manages customer relationship and deals with customer concerns.
  • Manage Customer Service Experience and Quality control.
  • Monitor competitive prices to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of our products.
  • Analyze demand for mobility services ensuring we capitalize on competitive pricing opportunities.
  • Provide solutions to compete and win in a competitive marketplace.
  • Direct selling and negotiation of key contracts to expand ground transport operations.
  • Attend conferences, meetings and industry events to build the company’s networks and identify leads and new business opportunities.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Job requirements

Minimum Qualifications & Experience 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales & Marketing/equivalent
  • A minimum of four (4) years’ automotive sales or sales experience and an excellent network of contacts are required to succeed in this position.
  • Experience in the short or long-term car rental industry will be an asset.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of a variety of computer software applications (Microsoft; Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle everyday situations quickly and effectively
